METAL CLOSURES AT "INTER-TABAC 2010", DORTMUND, SEPT. 17th - 19th

MCH is proud and pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at "Inter-Tabac" at the Westfallenhallen, Dortmund in Germany. The event takes place September 17th-19th, and expects over 7,000 visitors to the most prestigious Tobacco expo of 2010.Our stand is Booth 8.D16 in Hall 8. We will be showcasing our superb range of tins for Pipe Tobacco, RYO, Snus and of course Snuff.MCH is growing rapidly in the area of smokeless tobacco, and has a range of tins to suit every budget. More importantly we are true experts in the design and production of new and innovative products, and as a medium sized business we can handle orders of millions just as well as orders of thousands. Metal Closures to exhibit at Eurotab 2010!

We are proud to announce that we will be exhibiting at Eurotab 2010 in Krakow, Poland this year.

The Eurotab exhibition showcases the very latest products, packaging and technology from across the world, and brings them all under one roof for the key buyers and product developers of the European tobacco industries to study.

Metal packaging has always been synonymous with quality, being ever popular for cigarettes and cigars, but it is becoming increasingly popular in the world of smokeless tobaccos such as snuff and snus, as well as rolling and pipe tobacco.

The exhibition takes place 15-17th April at the Targi w Krakowie Hall in Krakow, Our stand number is 110 – we will English, Polish and Russian speakers available should you have any projects you wish to discuss, or just want to learn more about how metal can be not only a premium pack, but also very cost effective and environmentally friendly!!

MCH expands its' horizons

MCH not only increased sales during 2008/9, but greatly increased its' export to nearly 25%.This increase has been due largely to the introduction of a key new tobacco product as well as a continued drive to boost sales through European Distributors. The exchange rates continued to cause a challenge, but better efficiencies and reduced overheads enable MCH to keep moving forward.

Another 2 piece success!

MCH has added yet another range of aluminium caps and container to it’s range. A major high street Pharmacy asked MCH to create a ‘retro’ feel to a range of screw caps and 2 piece aluminium containers. By removing the knurl, going for single colours and adding exquisite embossing, we have achieved just that. The strength of the new designs lie in simple but effective use of plain varnishes and single colours, coupled with very well detailed embossing.

Our best hair wax tin yet!

MCH were challenged to take an existing container, and make it better, and did just that!Our VO5 tins are the latest version of the UKs’ best selling hair care range. We have taken what was previously quite a good tin, and made it much, much better. We’ve introduced a fully threaded lid, and a sidewall bead, which together ensure absolute product integrity and superb user functionality and reliability.MCH is currently developing yet another new 2 piece container which will be a shallow version of the VO5 tins. Although we are not making this specifically to add to the VO5 range, it will be part of what will soon be a family of screw top containers.

New container for growing market

MCH is continuing to see strong growth in its’ 2 (and sometimes 3) piece container business. We are proud to show our latest addition to our comprehensive range of tinplate containers, which is a 3 piece container for a tobacco product called snus.Snus is a smokeless tobacco product very popular in Scandinavian countries. Our client is an iconic and global brand, and MCH now manufactures a 3 piece container for their snus pouches, with a plastic internal cup that is foil sealed for perfect freshness. The use of the exciting new Soft Touch Varnish gives the pack a velvety and uniquely warm feel, which adds a very individual tactile branding. This new addition to our portfolio demonstrates very clearly how we can create not just components, but the complete finished pack.
